Teaching Your Kids About Gravity

If your kids have expressed interest in learning more about the world’s gravitational forces it’s time you spent a few moments letting them explore. There are tons of resources out there to help educate them so here are a few of our good parenting suggestions…
Take them to a Science Museum – There are bonafide science museums all over the country and they’re great at getting hands on and interactive with the kids in your life. They can drop things from high heights and find out everything there is to know about how gravity actually works.
Hit the Web – Use your WildBlue Deals internet to teach your kids about Newton…read an online story with them or give them a gravity quiz from one of the dozens of educational websites speaking on this topic.
Do an Experiment – Get outside and learn something together! Go to a height and drop different items – a feather, an apple and a brick – and see what happens. Have your kids guess how long they’ll take to hit the ground then discuss why they were faster or slower than they thought.
